Route A — The Royal Palace, the Old Town Lanes
A private walking tour through Gyeongbokgung Palace, Bukchon's hanok lanes and Insadong's tea houses and craft shops, ending at Cheonggyecheon Stream.

Meet at Exit 4 of Gwanghwamun Station (Line 5), next to the Admiral Yi Sun-sin statue, and begin with an introduction to central Seoul.

Can I book a private Seoul walking tour as a solo traveler?
Yes. You can book for one guest or your own small group. Your English-speaking local guide is dedicated to you; you do not join other travelers. The route reflects your interests, with walking and public transit when useful. For one guest, a 4-hour tour is $150 total; group prices are listed below.
How much does it cost?
For a 4-hour tour: $150 total for 1 guest, $100 per person for 2–4 guests, and $85 per person for 5–9 guests. For 10 or more, please contact us.
How much walking is involved?
The tour is mainly on foot, with subway or bus rides when useful. Tell us about your pace and mobility needs; stairs and uneven streets may limit accessibility.
Can we visit Gyeongbokgung and Bukchon, or choose other neighborhoods?
Yes. Route A covers Gyeongbokgung Palace, Bukchon, Insadong and Cheonggyecheon. Route B explores Namsan and Haebangchon; Route C visits Gangnam, COEX, Bongeunsa and Seolleung. These are suggested routes, not fixed schedules. Share your interests and preferred areas, and we’ll agree on a route that fits your time and pace, opening days and local access rules. Admission tickets are paid separately unless specifically stated.
Do we use public transportation?
We may use the subway or bus between neighborhoods. Personal transit fares are not included. A private vehicle or taxi is not included.
Are admission tickets included?
Admission tickets to paid attractions are not included unless specifically stated. We’ll discuss any ticketed stops before the tour.
Can we stop for food or coffee?
Yes. We can make time for a meal, snack or café during your tour. Food and drinks are paid separately.
Can we extend the tour?
Additional time is $25 per person per additional hour. Tours shorter than 4 hours are charged at the full four-hour rate.
Can this be an evening tour?
Yes. Evening tours use the same pricing and usually finish by 10–11 PM, with up to about 5 hours in total.
When do I pay, and what if I need to cancel?
A 30% deposit by bank transfer (including Wise) confirms your date and guide. You can pay the balance in cash on the day of your tour or in advance. Cash has no extra fee; bank transfers (including the deposit) carry a 2% processing fee, plus US$7 for international Swift transfers. Requests without a deposit are not guaranteed until confirmed. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before your tour starts, with a full refund of any deposit or advance payment; within 24 hours, payments already made are not refunded. If we need to cancel (weather, safety, or our own reasons), you get a full refund. Date changes are free when we can accommodate them.
